Privacy notice

What this covers

This notice explains what we collect when you use dopashift.com, why we collect it, where it is kept and how to ask us to delete it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, ask us and we will answer.

The contact form

When you send the scoping form we store your name, work email, store URL, the platform, SKU and revenue bands you chose, your deadline and notes, the page you sent it from, the referring site and any campaign tags in the URL, your browser's user agent and the time. We use this to scope and price your project and to reply to you. We do not add you to a newsletter.

The form data is stored in a Supabase database and a copy is emailed to us so we can reply. Both are hosted by third parties under their own security terms. We keep form submissions for as long as we are talking to you about a project, and for up to two years after the last contact so we can pick the conversation back up.

The Magento version checker

When you run the checker we fetch public pages from the store URL you enter, the same pages any visitor could load. We log the domain you checked and the result so we can see how the tool is used and fix it when it is wrong. We do not store the pages we fetched and we never show them back to you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, see which pages people read and record when the form is sent or the checker is used. GA4 sets cookies and processes IP addresses according to Google's terms. We do not run advertising pixels and there is no paid media behind this site.

Your browser's local storage holds the page you landed on, the referring site and any campaign tags, so that a lead can be matched to where it came from. Nothing in it identifies you.

Booking a call

The booking link on the thank-you page opens Cal.com. Anything you enter there is handled under Cal.com's privacy policy.

Who we share data with

Only the services named above: Supabase for storage, an email provider for notifications, Google for analytics and Cal.com for booking. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email us at the address on the contact page and we will do it within 30 days. You can block analytics with a browser setting or an extension and the site will still work.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
